Default double shear track bar question

ok thank you...this may be a dump question but when/will i need a drop pitman arm? the few threads that i read had said that if you use the double shear mount or a drop bracket for the track bar that your drag link and tb will not be parallel, and you will get bump steer. the only way to fix that would be a drop pitman arm. is this true? thanks again for all the help, and forgive me im still trying to learn but there is a lot of stuff here and other forums.
