Default Dorman HD rear leaf spring height

I'm looking at grabbing a pair of new dorman HD leaf springs from rockauto
http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...900&cc=1180178

I have done some googling and found conflicting info, some say these will net 1" over stock height similar to the UpCountry package, and others say they will be stock height.

I do not want to lift my XJ, just want to get it back to stock height. This is my DD, I occasionally tow and go on camping trips with the back loaded with gear.

Or should I get a pair of stock replacement, light duty or medium duty?

Bump. I am also considering the Crown light duty or medium duty oem replacement ones. I am not sure if these are more what I am looking for. Thanks

Not trying to sound like a jerk, but why in the world are you considering light-duty springs if you tow...?
Makes no sense, haha.

Haha guess that is a little silly yes, but I don't tow all the time. Might be once or twice a year around town.

I guess I really should find out what springs came on my Jeep from factory. Time to request a build sheet.

Limited models had softer (fewer -- one less) springs, but all of the others were the same.

Regarding your choices, check this thread out.
Tells you the amount of lift guys got from the leaves you're considering.
Keep in mind their "life" might've been over saggy stock springs.

We bought some of these off of Amazon for a decent price.

Before on the white one was basically the same as the black one.

And here's what the new Dorman springs look like on the black XJ.

Granted the new springs settled a little when we jumped on the bumper to get the shackles to properly move. So it does sit about 3/4 inch lower now.

Here's the old vs new spring differences.

Thanks, that is exactly the kind of information I was looking for. Are those 225 size tires on the black XJ? Was the rear end noticeably higher than the front end after install?

I have a Country edition, guessing that is not included along with the limited models having the softer spring rate?

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but Khyren, how are they holding up and what did they end up finally settling at? If you could, measurements from center of the wheel hub to the bottom edge of the flair would be great!

I keep a lot of tools in the back of my jeep so it sits a little lower than my brother's that has the same springs. I'll get some measurements for you when his gets back home around Thursday. I'm greatly satisfied with them thus far though.
