Default Door weather stripping

The weatherstripping round my drivers door is torn and leaking a lil. I was looknig on quadratec and they list the weather stripping as being for a 84-96 cherokee. I was under the impression the were pretty much the same the whole time. I peeled my back and it seems to have the same cross section, can anyone confirm this one way or the other?

if i remember right 84 thru 98 use the same weather stripping. i few years back i got some bulk at my local napa, in 20ft section and it was a whole lot cheaper than the dealer.

Theres like a silicone epoxy. It not a hard glue but it helps hold it up. You just give it a lil pull and it comes right off. FYI its alot easier getting the old stuff out than the new stuff in. Be careful on the lower rear corner the trim there breaks easily when removing the old stuff.

The clips holding the trim along the top of the door opening down to the dash will probably break when comin off. I used black RTV to secure the new weather stripping and the clips back onto the trim. Want them to break off easily next if it has to come off again and not risk breaking the trim
