I'm thinking of swaping my 91 xj doors with manual locks and windows for a set of 89 limited power win/locks. Has anybody done this? Also does anybody know if my xj would have been prewired at the factory so i can plug in and play? If not is hard to power them up?

 

The windows will need power wires to each side, and control wires from driver to passenger for the second switch, kinda the same thing for the locks... It could be a little tricky to get the wires where you want them to go. Another thing is that if you do, use a decent quality wire as the wires flex when the doors open and cheap wires will be brittle and break, requiring you to replace them eventually to keep everything working
