Well not sure if you already fixed your problem but the pins WILL come out... spray them with some penetrating oil a few times and let it soak in (overnight is best). Then get the correct size punch and the biggest hammer you can find lol. I'm not sure what everyone in that other forum is talkin about. They will come out its just not easy. Good luck

If you have a sagging door you do not need to replace the roll pins. If you do, the door will still sag. Just get some door shims from the wrecking yard and add one or two, whatever it takes to the bottom hinge and you will be good to go.

Huh? I have this problem on mine too and I don't like the fixes I've seen so far, this one sounds easy, but I don't get how it works?? Put shimes between the bottom hinge and the door? Won't that just push the bottom or the door out? I aren't too bright, enlighten me, palease!!

sometimes the bottom hinges get worn out or bent or warped and make the door sag, so the shimps bring the bottom of the door up to compensate for the bent or warped or warnout hinge. I've seen it done on another vehicle and the door didn't stick out so I assume it won't on an xj but don't quote me on that lol

Oh, I have it pictured in my mind now and it makes sense. I had the hinge backwards in my pea sized brain. Yeah, this could work...Thanks!

If you do decide to take the pin out, find someone with an air hammer. i was able to get the pin out in seconds with one.
