i have a 2000 cherokee classic and when i got the jeep the key fob would only lock and unlock when it wanted to noiw it does not work at all even with new battery. also the door locks inside dont work the driver side used to try and lock but never did and the passenger would lock and unlock but not now. at all. the other day i was driving and the locks kept clickingv like they wer trying to lock and unlock but would just make noise i then just let it be and it finally topped by battery is always week in the morning. any ideas?

oh....re-read your post (brain fart) thought we were talking windows....sorry.
I'd still look for a stuck switch or maybe d/c the remote module (maybe it's got a leaky part that's passing some voltage on to the power locks)
