I am going to the pullapart tomorrow to hunt for a mirror. I would like to get my driver's side power door lock working and figured since I had the dore panel off I would get an actuator. Is there anyway to test the actuator before I take it? Can I use a 9v battery or something like that to make it move?

Here is the link to the aftermarket actuator install.
I actually did this to my affected left rear door this afternoon and it took me literally 45 minutes start to finish.
Most of that time was digging for tools. ha, ha.

You can get these actuators at any stereo/gadget install shop or supply house.
