Ok so on my 97 jeep Cherokee I've managed to eff up my hinge on the passenger side. The door no longer shuts and nothing we've tried has fixed it. SO question is, does anyone have any idea how I could fix it OR would I be able to use my friends 92 doors on my 97? I've done the doorless mod to mine so mine are removable so that's no issue but would the hinges and everything work?

You may have already done this but make sure the latch part thats actually in the door ( the little part that locks onto the door holder thingy
) make sure its not in the locked position. That would keep it from shutting. Just a thought. If it is just pull the handle and with a screw driver or something push it down.

I believe me and a friend tried that but it was also in the pouring rain, I'll have to take a closer look tomorrow but yeah I think that is the problem.
