94 Cherokee 2 door.

The welds are fine where the hinge is fastened to the body of the Jeep. However the hinge broke on the half that is bolted to the door. Here is a photo I found online (someone cutting to make removable doors). My top hinge snapped completely off right about where the one in the picture is cut. Both on the top and bottom. And the door is about to fall off.



I think I need to replace the half of the hinge that bolts to the door, but I can't find where to buy this piece anywhere. Can anyone help me out? Could it be welded back together?

Welding it is not a good option. With the break close to the bolt hole.
Best option is what Flintstone said......

Junk yards around here don't get XJs often. I'll have to keep checking with them if used is the only way to go. I was thinking welding wouldn't work on this part. Thanks for the input!
