Default Door handle/rod clip

I was installing new front speakers and when i was taking off the door panel i thought I broke the door rod clips but I actually broke some plastic part on the inside door handle. Can i buy this part or do I just have to get a new handle? If can someone sell me one? I have already called the junkyards and theres nothing...

I have both sides, PM me or email n8nagel at gee mail dot com

You might have to get creative installing the new handle assembly as they appear to be held on by plastic posts heated and flattened. I was able to install a new armrest on my door panel by using #8 sheet metal screws but they might be too long in that area... not sure what the factory recommended repair is for what you have. However if you are game like I said I have extras - I bought a set of used door panels to replace the ones a PO hacked up for speakers so now I have extra door handles.

Dude, had the same problem last week with my 16-year-old son while trying to replace front speaskers....he's always wanting to use a BFH or a crowbar to dismantle things....slow down and look at the little yellow & black plastic clips...they will easily release if you rotate them about 90 degrees...then the rod slips right out....if you want to, you can pop the clip out of the plastic part that broke....
