Door handle question
1998 XJ 4 door sport power locks . hey guys my interior passenger side door handle is busted I was wondering if the rear passenger one will fit the front door? And are the lock actuators the same as well? Thanks in advance. I’d rather have a rear door not work then front.

The handles will swap front to back as they are same part, but they are staked to the door panel via plastic posts that are actually part of the door pad, heated and melted over to secure the door handle. Use a Dremel to grind the "heads" down just enough to remove the handles. Use short screws or they will poke thru the door pad. I cant remember what size screws i used to do this tho. The bezel around the handle is held on with molded in fingers. I dont recall having to remove the bezel. But it can be if you like.
I dont know about the actuators. Never compared the two.
