Always wrap your dongle, for safety...

Only joking. Is this some aftermarket security system as I've never heard of this. I'd suggest looking the dongle manufacture up on the internet and contacting them.

I've never heard of that either.

It's certainly aftermarket. The system can be removed but it most likely splices into the factory harness in a way that would prevent the Jeep from starting once the brain was removed.

You'd have to splice the factory wiring back like it was originally.

That makes me 3. I have never heard of them. I would remove it and start with a new set up. Like lowrange said you will have to splice the wire back together that where cut to install the unit you have in it now.

Europe! That would probably you best place to start if that where they are installed. Not try to be a smart a$$ just saying if that is where they are used that would be my suggestion. Have you tried googling it on line?

Thank you for your response. For a moment I thought that my car only afford this system.I have the VIN of the car, but I do not have the Dongle serial.I hope to show me the beginning of the road, the name of the company designed, or how to decipher protection, and whether switching PCM useful in removing protection.

Sorry for the large number of questions

I agree that contacting the manufacturer is best. The security units installed in the US normally just interrupt the start wire from the ignition. They can be easily removed. The UK versions are often tied into the PCM and removing the security system disables the vehicle. There was another member here a while back that had a horrible time trying to get his unlocked again.

It's ok not a problem we are here to help... The serial number should be on the PCM itself I believe... Can you take a picture of the dongle slot?

If you don't ask you don't learn.
I would also like to see a pic of the set up if you have any.
