OK I went to the local Advanced to get some dome light bulbs because mine have been missing since I purchased the vehicle. I ask the guy at the counter to look up the bulb and the computer tells him not available. As in they do not carry that type of bulb, it's not available for them to order, nothing. Doesn't even say what the bulb should be.

So my question is, what kind of special bulb does the dome light take that the parts store would not have it?

 

It's a 561. Not too special of a bulb

 

May be a T-3 or 561 - thats what worked on my 93, anyway. Found it at Autozone. It's a cylindrical bulb with metal U-hooks at each end. I also found out that the dome light lenses are no longer avail at the dealer or anywhere else.

 

Yeah I'm missing those too thanks guys I'll look for those bulbs next time I'm at the parts place

Mine came without and when I put a new one in I found out that it likes to flicker on and off while im driving down the road....

 

Yeah there's a possibility that the past owner took them out for a reason. They could be messed up in some way. So report back once you get bulbs in!
