im going to tackle it sometime this week as i have an inconsistent idle and sometimes when i start it up it'll idle at 3k and wont come down unless i turn it off and wait 10 sec than start it back up. the iac controlling idle, id like to try and see what it will do for it... with 201k on this jeep itll prolly needs cleaning anyways. thanks and yes i have tried searching

probably not on here but its very easy. unhook the wiring harness and undo the little bolts holding the iac in. pull it out slowly. spray the crap out of it with carb cleaner and spray the port where it mounts out also. put it back together and start it up.
there is a write up on jeepforums or one of the all encompassing jeep forums, i can't remember which one because i read about it when my grand was messing up
