okay so i went through my jeep looking for a place to put a snorkel through the fender wall and i noticed a cover right behind my front driver side head light. It's inline with the existing hole in my air block. If I remove it will I get better air flow...or will it create problems.

I think it helps keep rain from coming directly into the airbox.

little rain aint gunna hurt it

all its intended to due is help direct colder air from the front of the vehicle instead of sucking in hot air form the engine bay

do you need it?....NO

most people running snorkles actually seal that intake hole off as they will be running the snorkle plumbing through the side of the box
