Do I have this installed the right way?

This is on a 96 XJ and not even sure what it is. It fits on the bracket either way and can't tell if it's upside down or not.

It's the vapor canister purge solenoid. It's upside down. Part might have "top" on the flat end. Just checked my '96 and no "top" marked.
