My jeep died again today while roaming around town. I checked the codes when it died and I got: 54* No fuel sync (camshaft signal) detected during engine cranking and 27* Injector #12345 or 6 output driver does not respond properly to the control signal.
I found another resource that says 54 = change the distributor sync sensor. I was trying to find the part on the web and it's non existent. Do I have to change the whole distributor or something?
Also I reset the comp and it started right up. Weird?

After further reading I understand this is the cam position sensor. Can I replace the sensor or do I have to replace the whole distributor? And would it cause this problem with only dieing when I'm driving in the city not on the highway?
