Default distribitor help

jeep keeps stalling out, wait 5 min and will restart. have swapped out the crank sencer, throd body, computer and still doing it. going to swap out the distibitor with all the other sencers in it and there is NO plug there, seems to have been cut off. was there one there to start and if so where can one get this to replace other then the junk yard. also any other thoughts as to why the jeep will just stop running.

???

Need way more detail dude. Like what's actually happening. Why doesn't it start? And what year and engine. The vehicle you have might be a good one too.

Are you just throwing parts at it because you're bored?

91 4.0 and we have been replaceing parts as sugested by others, since they are saying since you have replaced this then try doing that and we are now down to just a hand full of things to replace. driving down the road or sitting still the jeep will be running and then stall out, will not start like no fuel or spark then wait like 5 min or so and will fire right back up, some times you can force it to stay running by pushing the gas and some time will not work. as for replacing the dist the guy that had it before me did something to it and there was no connector the wires were tied together and with only one peace of tap, so the wires were arcking over each other so thinking there might have been some damage to the dist.

Look for this style connector ,remove cap and rotor and compare the sensor .In 94 its different looking so 91 to 93 might work.....
