Any modifications to the hood? I saw that at Autozone. Think it was about $30 there.

it works great sumtimes i can hear it sucking air at idle when its cold its pretty cool gas mileage is the same and power is the same, and with it lifted with tires and the other stuff i have on it the effects of that filter if any would be so small you wouldn't notice

That's good to know. I don't know if I wanna lose the added sound from the acceleration in the K&N I have.

yea it clears the hood without the scoop well u gotta cut some of the insulation off the back of the hood but yea it fits. the scoop was mainly for my entertainment and to try moving that heat outta the engine bay at slower speeds, and so its not sucking hot air at low speeds.
