Default Differences between a 97 and 99.

Hey y'all! Question. Going to pick a 97 up to dd/swap parts to from my 99 tomorrow. I know the body and such is the same. But what's the known differences between the two? Motor wise. I know about the ev1 connectors for fuel injectors. Anything else?

Why on earth would anyone swap the front clip from a pre-97 onto a 97? Looks dumb to me.

On topic: intake manifold is the only important thing that I can think of.

I have a 99 XJ I plan on swapping parts from. (Motors seized, uniframe has been beat on for 2 years and multiple patches so it's time to fresh build one)

It confused me at first. Because I don't like the earlier years... I have a MJ I'm swapping all 99 parts on.
