If that were an XJ I'd say the Cardan joint in the front driveshaft. Not familiar with TJ's so FWIW.

If you post this on a Wrangler forum you'll probably find out your Oil Pump Drive is shot.

^^ Yep, OPDA. Long thread at JF on it, i did one of the SGmod's to a new assembly and it's awaiting install in a 40K mile LJ Rubicon if the "Laughing Monkey" rears it's head.
