Default Is dex/merc the same as Mercon V?
I have tons of Merc V. Just wondering if I could use that to flush my transmission instead of buying dex/merc stuff. Thanks.

Wouldn't do it. Different formulation.

Buy some Dex/Merc III compatible. That is what the mfg. spec'd this transmission for.
