hey everyone, the delay on my wipers doesn't work and i am wondering what to check?? the slow/fast settings work just not the delay. it's a 94 btw

 

There is a small black box velcroed under the dash right below the steering column. This is your wiper delay module and it had either fried or somehow became unplugged.

If you get this part from an autoparts store make damn sure you get one for a cherokee and not a grand cherokee. They look identical and the plugs will fit but the grand one will not work. I found this out because the one in my XJ when i got it did not work and when I went to replace it I saw ZJ printed on the sticker on it. I found the original one laying in the back and it worked mint.
