The 35c is worse, it has c-clips.
8.25 is good, better than all but 44.
44 also doesn't have c clips, so your axle doesn't have the opportunity to walk away from the jeep.

I love my 87 xj 44 lol
The C in D35c stands for "Custom", by the way. It means it was shipped incomplete from Dana to Chrysler. Nothing to do with C-clips.
