Ive been thinking about the Parts XJ I have out back and decided to poke around to find out what gears it has in the axles. Tags I took off read as follows:

FRONT AXLE TAG:

8953000391
4 10 41-10


REAR AXLE TAG:

4 11 605293-3
8953003695

Am I reading this correctly according to the tags that the front (DANA 30) has a 4.10:1 Gear ratio and the Rear(DANA 35) has a 4.11:1 Gear Ratio?


If so how difficult of a gear swap is this. If these ratios are correct on the Tags as I read them,Id like to swap em out for the 3.55:1 gears I have now in my 90 XJ

My 90 has an Aussie Locker in the rear of it,if I were to do the gear swap,how involved would it be R&R the locker

Whats easiest,most straight forward way to do this swap? Should I just swap the entire diffs,or would it be easier to do just the Ring and Pinion on each diff I really dont wanna have to mess with setting backlash and stuff as there arent any decent shops locally that specialize in drivelines.
