Default Decal & pin striping questions...

I am wanting to replace say my 4x4 emblems with actual sticker decals...Also the Jeep emblems I'd like to replace as well with decals...Anyone know of a good source to get some? Basically I want to remove all the metal emblems and replace em with decals since my emblems are all faded and nasty looking anyways...

Pin striping uhg I hate it..Anyways my XJ Limited pin striping needs to go..Anyone know of an easy and effective way to remove it? If it was a new car a blow dryer would do the trick but being 17 yrs old makes for some brittle striping...

Goo Gone and some elbow grease oughta get the pinstriping off. Your Jeep and 4x4 emblems are either adhesive or stud applied, so check the backside to make sure. As for the decals, try this place for the 4x4 ones. Not sure about the Jeep one, that might be a little harder to find.

The JEEP between the hood and grill is a dealer item unless you snag some from a JY.

I can replace the factory ones if I wanted at teamcherokee.com but the hood one is fine. I think I am just going to replace the 4x4 ones and pull the side ones that say cherokee off and then the rear ones I dunno may leave em may take em off who knows..

The pin striping is coming off no matter what I hate that stuff..Also the lower trim stuff is likely going to come off as well since I am going to bedline the lower section and flairs anyways..

if you go at the pin striping with a new razor it will come right off. hold the razor and chop at it counter clockwise from top to bottom, like slicing it. dont just push the razor straight into it, then some goof-off or some kind of adhesive remover will finish it off. good luck

X2 on that, a little heat goes a long way when removing these emblems.

I personally would not use a razor to remove pin striping. I agree with the other guys, use a hairdryer and some goo gone.

I also hate my lower moldings, very ugly when faded.
