Well,
I am sad to say, last Sunday, I was coming home from work late after dealing with a guy in cardiac arrest and wrecked and ended up totaling my BEAUTIFUL, MINT and WONDERFUL 95 XJ.
I cant even begin to tell you the heart break/ anger that I felt. I Have owned many vehicles in the past but none that I cared about as much as I did for my XJ. I was certain I would never find a suitable replacement for the 95, but yesterday I proved that theroy wrong. I found another 95 XJ with the same amount of miles (125k) and in even better shape than my initial XJ!!
I spent all day yesterday getting it legal and swaping tires from my 1st XJ to the new one since the tires only had about 3k miles on them.(235-75R-15 Cooper STT).
I was planning on the Rubicon Express 2" lift but when I spoke with my buddy who also is an avid XJ lover with one of his own(95 XJ, 3"RC lift, 31 Procomp X-terran's) he talked my into a 3" lift. So I am on the hunt for a 3" lift for my new baby. I just thought I would pass this tid bit if info along so others would know that they are not alone in there suffering.
Peace and Chicken Grease!!
