Confirmed damaged parts:
Left fender
Left fog light
Left horn
Radiator
Wiring in front of radiator (forget what it's for)
Power steering pump bent
Power steering box bent
Radiator cracked
Dented wheel, bead bent back causing leak
Left wheel well
Grill cracked
Front piece above grill cracked
hood dented and scratched
Left headlight assembly
License plate receiver/plate
Tie rod sheared
Alignment
Possibly damaged parts:
Other parts along steering line
My current estimates for parts are now running about $700 in just parts alone, assuming I have seen all the damage done. Estimated time for replacing damaged components will run me approximately 30 hours labor.

Man, sorry about your accident, good luck fixing that puppy up.
I wonder, what would be cost and time on work needed just to rehab it to driving state.

Sorry to make light of it, my one wreck really freaked me out, but damn man. I'm building a steel bumper ASAP. Looking at the tail end of the black car, I was pleasantly surprised with what you ended up with. I did a similar front end swap on my 96 and it really wasn't that bad. I know times are tough, but that is doable and if insurance gives you cash, I'd start planning an upgraded radiator, axle, and new front end. The front end stuff is really easy work and goes quickly if you have a buddy with you.

Be sure to check the "frame" rails and panels down the WHOLE vehicle. There could be indirect damage there. Not trying to rain on your parade, just want to make sure you find everything.

Yeah the steel bumper ate most of the hit, thank god. Looks like the plan is my dad is going to have it fixed professionally. The bumper was kind of a two-edged sword: on the one hand, it absorbed most of the hit, but it also directed it up underneath the vehicle into my steering and drive components.
