Default Dash won't come out (heater core replacement)

Greetings,

I am currently tearing out the dash on my 98 Cherokee to replace the heater core and evap core. I have removed everything using this guide: http://justanothersillybolg.blogspot...evap-core.html

It seems that when everything is undone, the dash just sort of lifts up and out, but I can't get mine to budge. I'm afraid I'm going to break something because it feels so stuck. I know it's a long shot, but does anyone have any ideas on what could be going on? If not, I'll have to have it towed to a nearby mechanic so they can try to tear it out.

Double check everything.

Checks whether this helps. It is a Grand Cherokee so I don't know what will transfer. https://youtu.be/AvdhusnuFUU

It took an hour or two of wiggling around, but it finally came loose. I'm not sure what was holding it back. I can't find anything that's broken.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

All it takes are a couple threads getting hung up on a panel and the simplest of projects grind to a halt. Been there, done that. Also, some vehicles have an adhesive pad between the box and firewall that can can be ridiculously tough to seperate, along with retainers that clip into the firewall. Even firewall seals have put up a fight in some vehicles as they catch on the heater core tubes. Its the little things that get you.
