Dash Noise
Alright guys I know this isn't the normal question, but I have tried to solve it myself and its driving me CRAZY!!!! I have a squeak coming from the passenger side of the dash in my 99. If I hit the dash right at the bottom left corner of the glove box it will stop for a second. Ive had the dash apart looking for it and can't find the source. I hope somebody has had this problem because the noise is so annoying it pains me to drive the jeep to work

For squeaks I have had in other cars I have tried stuffing small pieces of cardboard in various cracks to isolate what might be moving with some success.
Another option is to have a helper hold/stuff cardboard while you drive to see if they can isolate what is moving. If you can find it then you can figure out what to do to stop the squeak.
Good luck!

i had the same noise. My solution.....keeping the glove box open. Sure, things can fly out with the windows open........but there isn't any noise!!

First empty every thing out of the glove box, center console, overhead console, door pockets, etc. etc..Then drive down some bumpy roads. With a buddy looking for the squeaking. If you don't have enough bad roads there, come to Oshkosh. There are terrible here.
