Dash component ID on an 89

Dash component ID on an 89
Hello, I am installing some rack lights and I noticed a loose wire connection next to the rear defroster on the left hand side of the steering wheel.
Anyone know what this connection is for? It has 3 wires in the clip, two green followed by a black.
