Default dash cluster "no bus"

01 cherokee limited...I have read a few of the threads relating to the dash cluster issues...mine are all similar...it works intermittently...if I tap the cluster it comes on sometimes...I removed the cluster...looked at the 2 plug connections...they looked clean...I reattached, while the engine was running I wiggled both connections to see if it would activate the cluster in any way...didn't do anything...now back to square one...still comes on sometimes when I tap the cluster...any more suggestions...should I replace the harness or the cluster...?...thanks ahead of time for any advice

thanks for the reply...going to keep messing with it...really want to get it working normal again...was really just trying to determine if anyone knew if it was a wiring issue or a dash cluster issue...as I am going to replace which ever it is...thanks again

Default Engine runs but no gauges and "no bus"

I have the same problem. Engine runs fine and auto-tranny shifts fine too, but the gauges do not work and the odometer displays "no bus". After combing through many threads I have replaced the CPS, PCM, TCM and the cluster connectors. Also, I have checked every fuse throughout the whole rig more than once. The gauges still do not work, not even intermittently. Any suggestions?
