Just tryin to get an idea of what I'm looking at here.
My '91 XJ has a power steering fluid leak. The leak isn't squirting fluid when running or anything, but seems to only leak with the engine off. I will have a 2-5 inch diameter stain under the Jeep every morning. I always make sure to keep the fluid topped, but this is annoying me.
The leak seems to be coming from the rear seal behind the pump where the power steering line runs into it. Not the high pressure line that goes around to the front/top, but the one that goes in behind. Is this something built into the pump or something to do with the hose? No fluid leaking from the hoses or their fittings, just that one seal.
