After an exhaustive search I have come up empty handed.

I'm getting ready to swap my D35 with a D44 from an 87 XJ. I have an ABS jeep and am curious what, if anything, I need to prepare for when installing this. I know I'll lose the ABS ad will need to pull the relay and fuse, but will everything else hook up?

Also are the U-joints the same? I just want to have as much figured out before I get everything torn apart and scattered around the garage. Any help would be appreciated.

 

u-joints should be the same though its a good time to swap them out if you already have the axle out of the way. take your time the parking brake is fun to get out of the axle but little time with a pair of needle nose pliers and you'll get it out
