Dana 44 Spring Plate same as C8.25?

Dana 44 Spring Plate same as C8.25?
Does anybody know if the spring plate for a Dana44 is the same as the spring plate for the Chrysler 8.25? I know that the U-Bolts are different sizes(2.76" on Dana 44 and 3.0" on the 8.25), but is the spring plate universal for both axles?
