dana 44 from a jeep j truck?

dana 44 from a jeep j truck?
will this axle work for my 88 cherokee in place of the dana 30? im sure different mounts are need but other then that will it work?

Mounts are different...
Leaf springs rather than coils....
Different gear ratios...
Could be a 5 bolt x 5inch, 6 bolt or 8 bolt lug axle depending on year and truck...
IIRC, some years were passenger side drop axles.

ya full width is what i want i found a good deal on it but i want to know if itll be the same work as like a front dana 60 or ford hp 44

It will work but you will need a gear matching full with rear to match. And i think your best bet is to make a truss for both front and rears and build your mount on that. Just how I would do it. Oh make sure what side drop that front is the J series trucks had left and right side drops depending on what year and I don't know witch one is witch.
