There is a fella who is parting out a 2x4 Cherokee with the towing package, which I assume means he has the dana 44. Would this fit my 5 speed 4x4 92' XJ?

Also, what is a good price for a Dana 44?

doesn't necessarily mean its a d44, check out the diff cover to know for sure. $300 or less is a good price, but if he doesn't know its a d44 offer him $100. if its going in a 4x4 make sure it's gears match yours, and depending on what axle you have in there now you may need a different drive shaft as well.

 

When I installed my D44 it was necessary to shorten the drive shaft 2" to allow for the longer snout on the D44.
