would a 44 out of a wagoneer pretty much be bolt on a xj? how much fab is needed if not?

 

I put one on mine from a waggy and on the back if you get one that had the tow pakage all you have to do is relocate the passenger side shock mount.however the waggy without the tow pakage has springs under the axle and you will have to move the perches also. The front is a whole nother story though, the front of a waggy also uses leaf springs and you have to change everything. Unless you are talking about the waggy that looks like the xj, then Im not sure, mine all came from a full size waggy with the towing pakage.

 

If it is out of the XJ wagoneer then yes. If it is out of a FSJ wagoneer then no. Bolt pattern is different also.
