I've found a Junkyard close by with cheap prices. I wanted to know how to identify a Dana 44 to see if they have any. Any help?

There have been at least a dozen threads in the last 5-7 days about identifying axles.

Use the SEARCH feature or just scroll through the forum.

That helps a lot. Are there any other good axles I should look out for?

agreed. I understand the frustration - I'm new to this forum, but a veteran of other forums and I know how it feels. however, I'm such a newbie with cherokees that half the time, I don't even know what to search for...

LOL good one. here on CF the same questions are asked millions times a day and clutter it up. searching helps you learn about your rig unlike (sounds like you are one of them) many here that dont want to learn just want the answers.

search doesn't always work very well. If I try to search say Iron Rock Offroad to see how they are or something. so much crap comes up that I don't need. if you do a titles search more than half the time is just says nothing. so starting a new thread is just the easiest thing someone can do to get info. so what if there's repeats. old buried threads most likely won't be seen anyway.
