Default Dana 35 rear axle yoke

Have 92 cherokee with a dana 35 rear axle and need yoke. Are they all the same spline. It is stock.

All dana 35 rear yokes are the same as far as I've been able to find. But the yoke will not cross over with Chrysler 8.25 and such. Dana 35s have crush sleeves so you're supposed to replace it when putting a new yoke on, but many say you can get away with marking it and getting it back where it was in the beginning. Personally I'd get a 97+ 8.25 and not fix the dana 35 since it's a weak axle anyway.

Thank you for your advise and info. I am trying to just get jeep home then the build will begin. Have alot to learn about jeeps so thanks again for your input.

Yes, they are all the same spline count. When you tighten it down, just get it far enough to get the back and forth play out of it without getting it so tight it won't turn freely. There are two styles of yoke you can use. Non U bolt and strap. Strap is what you have. The U bolt type are much more reliable.
