Default Dana 35 or chry 8.25

Hey guys quick question how can I tell which rear end I have in my 98 jeep xj classic. It's a four door with the 4.0 and I believe the 232 transfer case

Yours should be the 8 1/4 with the push in plug.

Just look and see if the bottom is completely flat, my 98 has a D35 since it has ABS...
