Just bought a limited slip for my dana 35. I`m pretty handy with a wrench but i`ve never tackled something like this. Any one out there got any good advise for me before i tackle this project?

Unless you know how to set up gears I'd find someone who does. Several specialty tools involved and tolerances are very tight.

x2 and to me it would be a waste to LS a d35. they dont act like a locker and are a pain to setup!

If you dont know what your doing you'll be doing it again in a few months. Save the cash and dont be a do it your self on this. Spend the extra $$$ to hae it done by a pro.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A D35

IF you stil go ahead and do this buy a master install kit...( which is over a 100 bucks... for that you could go to the PNP and get an 8.8 with 4.10's discs and a lsd)... And then pay some one to install it. If you dont have the right tools, a press, setup bearings, depth gauge, and a few other cool things then I wouldnt attempt it

Actually the LS for my D35 was givin to me. Brand new! I guess this would be better than factory? Its better than what I`ve got now.....
It was suppose to be a powertrax but when I got it, it said Spicer all over it(74210x). I dont do alot of wheelin, although I would love to build a wheelin sonof#*^!&. But works got me down man. Someday.... for now I`ll fix up my xj for some mild offroading....
