Should i just up grade to the 8.25 or the 44 my tire size will never be bigger than a 32 looking for opinions on whats best thanks

Do not rebuild it.

Find an 8.25 in a Junk yard and never look back.

As long as you find one with the same gear ratio it will be a direct bolt in.

I would find an 8.25 or a D44. I'm sure you can find one for less than it would cost to fix your D35.

So the Chrysler is the way to go i was thinking the 44 but tire size will never be greater than 32 11.5 now it would cost me bout 120 to rebuild are 8.25s out there for round that price

Yes. Check craigslist for vehicles being parted out, call around to your local JY's. You should be able to find a 29 spline for under $200. The factory limited slip option on some 8.25's really isn't bad either.

Is anything swappable i just put new brakes on the 35 also i have the rc 4.5 lift no the y gave me the u bolts for both rears but are the spring perches the same i dont need new springs right bolts right in

I believe u can use same leafs but will need dif u bolts

Ya when u buy the 4.5 rc lift they give u both stes for the 35 and the bigger ones for the 8.25 i was just wondering bout the perches if there the same thanx

Perches are the same. Only thing you'll need is new u-bolts with 3" diameter.

Lol death of a 35 si i destroyed my dana 35 after ordering the rebuild so im gonna sell that anyway im gonna do the 8.25 29 spline swap.i have a few questions i have the factory tow package wit 3.73 gears are there any 8.25s with those gears also i wanna reuse my 35 drive shaft i have 4.5 lift so with the longer pinion on the 8.25 i should be close to the factory location in regards to the slip yoke and the tail shft Location because of the lift doesthis make senses to anyone
