Should I get fixed lower control arms? I'm assuming adjustable would be better.. Do they have to be a specific size for a 3 " lift ,

Doesn't matter really. Most are the same length since they can be adjusted by the shoe at the frame mount. Adjustables are better for uppers, if you need to really adjust the lowers then it seems you are going high enough that long arms would be highly recommended, just my thoughts.
