So the other day, I went to try and change my diff fluid. Before unbolting the outer bolts of the cover, I tried to take out the drain plug (the one that screws in with a 3/8 socket). Well, the PO got that plug in there so tight that I broke 2 different socket wrenches when trying to unscrew it.
So out of my frustration, I made a not so smart decision and bought an overpriced ARB cover because the design of it (with both a drain plug and a fill plug) was very appealing to me at the time so I don't run into this issue again.
I just got the cover in the mail yesterday and my question is, am I going to run any issues with it not fully fitting over the gears? It's my DD so I don't wanna take off the old cover just to find that the ARB cover won't fit right. And if it doesn't, I won't be able to put the old cover on because the dang fill plug is too stubborn.
So is anyone else using the ARB cover that can give me firsthand experience? I have stock 3.55 gears if that makes a difference

Okay cool. Just scared me cause I noticed the ARB cover looks shallower than the stock cover and the instructions that were sent with it were saying "checking for clearance between diff cover and all internal parts is crucial before tightening the cover bolts. Failure to do this may cause damage to your differential"
Wanted to make sure, thanks!
