I am replacing the u joint/drivers side on my ninety fo.. For the friggn life of me, i cannot get the little clip to release/come out before attempting to press out the ujoint. Yes, i realize there are four of the clips, i am limited with tools, if i had a torch, you bet, id burn that spicer outta there. What the best method of approach?

Try tapping on the end caps (only the end caps). That might loosen the clips just enough to give a good wack with a punch. They're most likely just rusted a little (corroded).

pb blaster and a big screwdriver. ***SAFETY FIRST**** dont stab your self. then again they make a tool to remove them . napa should have them. or hit the endcap in with a hammer and a socket and use pliers and a scredriver

get a deep socket i think a 14mm fits good, spray up the clip, put the socket the the clip and give a shot with a hammer hen try and pry it out or use needle nose pliers and yank em out.
