Default Damage after wheeling: possible Trans seal blow, headlights low, and belt sqeeling

SO did some pretty deep water crossing wheeling Yesterday. Today tried to go again as we camped, and smoke was pouring out of hood. I see what looks like Trans flluid all over everything , from the valve cover to block. Check fluid, bone dry. Any one had a similar experience, could it have something to do with all the deep water? Also my headlights work, but at about 10% total power, and one of belts is whining pretty bad. Any suggestions on possible solutions would be great. Also let me know if you need any pics or more info to help diagnose problems.
