Default d35 to chrys 8.25 swap

I'm going to be making the switch from a dana 35 to a 29 spline 8.25 and I was wondering if anyone knew of a good write up on the project. I am pretty confident I can figure it out but any help would be great! The one big question mark for me is what to do with the abs? From what I have heard all d35's (2001 xj sport) have abs and I am not sure what will need to be done when swapping to a non abs 8.25. Thanks for any help!

I did this swap so I could get 4.10 gears. All I did was unplug the ABS wires that go throurgh the bottom of the jeep to up under the rear seat. The ABS light on the dash will stay on. I have had no other problem. I will also unplug the front when I change that axle out.

The 8.25" will not work with ABS. Disconnect and tuck the ABS harness up out of the way and then remove the instrument cluster and take out the ABS bulb so it wont be constantly annoying you.

Well I am pretty sure (after looking at a few things) that I don't have ABS. Rad. Last question though, I have heard rumors that the 35 and 8.25 use different u joints. Any adapters required?
