Whoa, whoa, WHOA!!!!
Adding an HD diffcover will help prevent damage to your ring gear if your diff takes a direct hit but it certainly isn't doing anything to prevent any type of flexing of the axle. A very slight increase in strength is possible, but not a huge amount. if your wheeling hard enough to be concerned about the cast steel section of the axle twisting i'd love to se WTF your driving on and I'd wonder about your choice of axles for those conditions as well.
If you're concerned about bending a tube you need to address the overall axle assembly and not just the diff cover.
Consider an axle truss from someone like TnT or fab your own if you are equiped to do so. Stay away from bolt-on truss', they don't offer the same strength as a weld-on truss.
The Dana30 is a fairly stout axle even in stock form and will last a verylong time with a little common sense applied to how and when you apply the skinny peddle. The D30 has been used successfully in a variety of Jeeps for a long time, albeit in a few different configurations.
Don't throw your money at parts that don't do what you want, rather, spend your hard earned cash on the right parts for the improvements they are designed for.
