Antifreeze? A friend to help lift it off? Loctite 565 or 567 thread sealant for the head bolts, I cant remember which ones.... Can I make a suggestion, replace the bolts with brass bolts, if you ever wanna change to a header, you'll be glad you did.

Change oil and filter at least a couple of times quickly after you get this done. If you had a cracked head (assuming yes?) you have coolant in your oil. Got to get it out of there.

If you had the famous cracked head issue you'll want to check/replace more than just the head. There could be coolant trapped inside the lifters so maybe you should remove those and pump them up with new oil.

Just keep them in order.
